Connect Groups
We were all designed with a desperate need for community in our hearts. Our Connect Groups are for people who meet frequently to do life together. These groups are designed to cultivate Christ-centered friendships that encourage, challenge, and focus our lives on a growing relationship with Jesus.
Answering Common Questions
What is the purpose of a Connect Group?
We designed Connect Groups to mimic what the Bible teaches about community. (Acts 2:42-47, Hebrews 10:24-25; Colossians 3:12-17) Connect Groups are not all of the Christian life, and they cannot carry the full weight of discipleship (growing to be more like Jesus), but they do create a community around the right sort of “stuff” (serving together, learning the Bible, caring for one another, spreading gospel community, and sharing generously).
Why should I join a Connect Group?
We were created to live in a community. Community protects us from being isolated and vulnerable to enemy attacks. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. We’ve all seen the social media where the antelope has strayed too far. Trust us: Connect Groups is a place where you’re protected and loved.
